How to build a study plan for the WACS primary examination
This page is demonstration content. It shows how an examination-oriented study article is structured on this site.
Why a written plan matters
Preparation for a postgraduate primary examination is a months-long project. A written plan converts an intimidating syllabus into a weekly routine, and it gives you an honest record of what you have actually covered.
The framework
- List every syllabus domain and score your current confidence honestly, from 1 to 5.
- Allocate weekly sessions so that weak domains get roughly twice the time of strong ones.
- Plan two full revision passes before the examination date, and protect the final three weeks for recall practice rather than new reading.
- Track sessions in a simple log. If a week slips, reschedule rather than abandon the plan.
A caution
Examination structure, eligibility and dates change. Always verify current requirements against the official college publications linked from the examination pages on this site, and check the last-verified date shown there.
